Lubbock Public Health Offers Community Immunization Clinics

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Lubbock Public Health will host two community-wide immunization events to help ensure children are up to date on their required vaccinations as the new school year begins.

The clinics are open to children ages 4–18 who are eligible for the Texas Vaccines for Children Program. Eligible children include those who are uninsured, enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP, American Indian or Alaska Native, or underinsured. Parents are asked to bring their child’s most current shot record or a letter from the school indicating which vaccines are needed.

The vaccines provided will meet the Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements for students in grades K–12.

Clinic Dates and Times:

  • Saturday, Aug. 30 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 9 | 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
