City of Lubbock Hosts Annual Bike Rodeo

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department announced in a press release that it will host its annual Bike Rodeo on Saturday, March 22.

The Bike Rodeo will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Safety City, 4500 Avenue U in Clapp Park, and will teach kids bike safety through interactive courses on traffic signs, signals, and road rules. Children ages 4-14 can participate, but parents or guardians must be present.

Instructors will be available to guide participants through the activities, said the release.

Kids can bring their own bikes or borrow one from Safety City on a first-come, first-served basis. 

The free event will feature raffle prizes and vendors sharing information about local organizations.
