Lubbock Storm Drain Art Project Complete, Voting Now Open

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock has announced the completion of the 2025 Storm Drain Art Project, with murals now visible at the intersection of Texas Avenue and 13th Street.

From June 2 to 6, selected artists painted original designs on storm drains, all centered around this year’s theme, “It all flows together.”

With the artwork finished, the Hub City is invited to vote for their favorite mural. The artist whose piece receives the most votes will win a $250 “fan favorite” prize.

Voting is open now and will close on Sunday, June 16, at 11:59 p.m. The public can view the murals online or visit them in person to see the full detail and impact of the work.
