LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) is urgently seeking volunteers to serve as medical fosters for more than 56 puppies currently in need of care.
According to LAS, the puppies will require foster homes for up to 6–8 weeks, during which time volunteers will help provide medical care and support as the animals recover and grow stronger.
The city is also urging residents to help curb the growing stray animal population by ensuring their pets are spayed or neutered, which officials call a basic part of responsible pet ownership.
Those interested in fostering or seeking assistance with spaying or neutering a pet are encouraged to contact LAS at 806-775-2057.
