Buddy Holly Center Celebrates Legend's Birthday with 'Glasses and Guitars'

LUBBOCK, TX — The Buddy Holly Center will celebrate Buddy Holly’s birthday weekend with a “Glasses and Guitars” workshop for young music enthusiasts ages 6–12.

The interactive program highlights Holly’s trademark glasses and his guitar. Participants will create cardstock glasses and paint bamboo guitar cutouts while learning how these simple items became groundbreaking symbols of Holly’s career.

All materials will be provided. The workshop fee is $15 per participant, due at the time of registration.
