LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech outfielder Logan Hughes has been named a Second Team ABCA All-Central Region selection, the organization announced Tuesday, following a breakout 2025 campaign.
Hughes, a First Team All-Big 12 honoree, led the conference in regular-season home runs with 19, including 11 in league play. He finished the season with a .327 batting average, 58 RBIs, 13 doubles, four triples, and just 24 strikeouts in 211 at-bats.
His 19 home runs rank seventh in a single season in Texas Tech program history.
Hughes excelled in conference play, hitting .376 with a 1.196 OPS, while adding nine doubles and three triples. He remained hot through May, hitting .370 with five home runs over 12 games.
The Florida native reached base in 51 of his 53 games played, including a 39-game on-base streak to end the season.
Hughes becomes the 83rd Red Raider in program history to earn All-Region honors.
