Texas Tech Volleyball Unveils 2025 Schedule

 

LUBBOCK, TX – Texas Tech volleyball has announced its full 2025 schedule, which includes 30 matches and 12 home contests at United Supermarkets Arena. The Red Raiders will compete in four preseason tournaments before opening Big 12 play at home against Baylor on Sept. 24.

The season begins with an intrasquad scrimmage on August 22 followed by an exhibition match against Tarleton State on August 23. Tech will then head to Florida for its opening weekend, taking on Western Carolina, host Florida Atlantic, and Kent State on August 29.

The Red Raiders continue their non-conference slate with a tournament hosted by Georgia, where they’ll face Duke (September 3), Georgia (September 4), and Alabama State (September 5). The final road tournament takes Tech to Flagstaff, Arizona, to play Southern Utah and Northern Arizona on September 12, followed by UC San Diego on September 13.

Texas Tech returns home September 19–20 to host the 2025 Red Raider Classic, welcoming Albany, Ole Miss, and UC San Diego. It will mark the program’s first-ever matchups against Western Carolina, Kent State, Alabama State, UC San Diego, and Albany.

Big 12 play begins Sept. 24 when the Red Raiders host Baylor. The complete conference schedule is available online through Texas Tech Athletics.

The 2025 schedule offers a mix of familiar foes and first-time opponents as Tech prepares for a competitive season both in and out of conference play.
