LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech men’s golf head coach Greg Sands announced the program’s 2025-26 schedule Monday. The Red Raiders will open next season with a trip to Pebble Beach, California, for the Carmel Cup from August 29-31.
The Red Raiders will compete in 10 regular-season tournaments—four in the fall and six in the spring—before beginning postseason play at the Big 12 Championship. The conference tournament is scheduled for April 27-29 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas. Prairie Dunes last hosted the Big 12 Championship in 2023, where Texas Tech finished third behind a second consecutive individual title from Ludvig Åberg.
Texas Tech will aim for a sixth straight trip to the NCAA Championships, scheduled for May 29–June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The Red Raiders have qualified for the NCAA postseason 23 consecutive years and are seeking a third straight appearance in Carlsbad. Last season, Tech placed 10th at nationals, marking the program’s fourth top-10 finish under Sands and sixth overall.
The NCAA Regionals will be held May 18–20 at six sites: Athens, Georgia; Bermuda Run, North Carolina; Bryan, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Corvallis, Oregon; and Marana, Arizona. The NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee will announce the field on May 6.
The Red Raiders will play in several prestigious tournaments throughout the season, including stops at PGA TOUR and U.S. Amateur venues. The spring portion of the schedule begins Feb. 5-7 with the Amer Ari Invitational in Waimea, Hawai’i.
