AMBER Alert: Hamlin Girl, 10, Believed to be Abducted by Man on Motorcycle

 

UPDATE: Skylar Beach was found at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, after an Amber Alert was issued for her at 6:02 a.m. earlier that morning.

HAMLIN, TX — An AMBER Alert has been issued for 10-year-old Skylar Beach, last seen Wednesday afternoon in Hamlin, a small town northwest of Abilene.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Beach was last seen at around 4 p.m. on April 30 in the 500 block of NW Avenue G. Authorities believe she was abducted by Terry Jeter, 43, who is considered armed and dangerous, the Fisher County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Skylar is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 78 pounds. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, pink shorts, and red Converse sneakers.

Jeter is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Authorities believe he may be traveling on a 2002 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle with Texas license plate 138A4V.

The AMBER Alert remains active as the search continues.
