TAHOKA, TX — The City of Tahoka has issued a boil water notice after severe storms temporarily shut down the city's water wells.
According to a series of Facebook posts, crews from the Canadian River Water Authority are working to refill the city’s water tower, which is now back online. While water service has been restored, pressure across the system will remain low throughout the day.
Residents are urged to conserve water and boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth until further notice.
City officials will notify the public once the boil water notice is lifted through updates on their Facebook page.
