LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Public Library system has announced a full week of free community events, including storytimes, book clubs, family activities and tutoring sessions at various library branches from Sept. 8 through Sept. 13.

Monday, Sept. 8

• Parenting Cottage Storytime, 10:30–11 a.m., Mahon Library, 1306 9th Street. Each family receives a free book (while supplies last). Call 806-775-2835.

• Robin’s Nest Tutoring, 1–5 p.m., at both Godeke Branch Library and Patterson Branch Library. Free K–12 tutoring in various subjects.

• Ready to Read Storytime, 2–3 p.m., Patterson Branch Library. Apple-themed interactive storytime for ages 2–5. Includes a free book while supplies last.
